Hungarian Marsetti(From 1975 Edition)
Hungarian Marsetti(From 1975 Edition) is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hamburger steak, 1 medium size onion, cut in small pieces, 1/4 to 1/2 lb. snappy cheese, cut in small cubes, 8 oz. pkg. wide noodles and 1 qt. peeled, stewed tomatoes or 1 large can, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt to 2 or 3 quarts of water.
Bring to boil.
Add noodles and cook until tender.
Drain and pour hot water over noodles while still in colander.
Brown onion in a pan.
Add hamburg and brown while stirring.
Add noodles, cheese and tomatoes to hamburg.
Mix. Bake in casserole slowly in 300° to 325° oven for about 2 hours.
Serves 6 to 8.
