Hungarian Goulash
Hungarian Goulash is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. butter/margarine, 6 medium onions, thin sliced, 2 lb. beef stew, cut into 1-inch cubes, 1/4 c. paprika and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In Dutch oven over medium-high heat in hot butter, cook onions, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Add stew meat, paprika, salt and bay leaf.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 3 hours or until meat is fork-tender, stirring occasionally.
Discard bay leaf.
Stir in sour cream.
Serve over noodles.
Makes 6 servings.
