Hungarian Crackling Biscuits

Sift all dry ingredients together, then rub in cracklings. Combine eggs, sour cream and water.
Add to dry ingredients.
Mix lightly to form a soft dough, but firm dough.
Roll out on a floured board to 1/2-inch.
Cut with a small, round cookie cutter. Make impressions on top with knife crisscross fashion and place on a cookie sheet 1/2 inch apart.
Brush top with beaten egg and bake in a 375Β° oven for 25 minutes.
