Hot Salt Pickles
Hot Salt Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 30 cucumbers, sliced, 1 qt. vinegar, 2 qt. water, 3 c. salt and 1 grape leaf (for each jar), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Soak cucumbers overnight in cold water.
Drain.
Put a grape leaf in bottom of each jar, then pack cucumbers in jars as tight as possible.
Add alum, dill seed, red pepper and garlic cloves. Bring vinegar, water and salt to boil.
Pour over cucumbers and seal.
