Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup juice; set aside.
In medium bowl, combine sugar and flour.
Add butter or margarine and 1 cup cheese.
Mix well.
Gently stir in pineapple.
Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Sprinkle crushed crackers on top; drizzle with reserved juice.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes.
Remove and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
