Hot Chile Sauce
Hot Chile Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 bushel tomatoes, 3 lb. onions, ground, 1 doz. sweet green peppers, 3 or 4 hot peppers and 1 tbsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Scald and peel tomatoes and cut in pieces.
After boiling tomatoes for 2 hours, add onions and peppers and add cinnamon, ginger, cloves, dry mustard and sugar.
Boil for 1/2 hour and then add
1/2 pint vinegar.
Boil 1/2 hour more, put into hot canning jars and seal.
