Hot Caramel Sauce
Hot Caramel Sauce is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. granulated sugar, caramelized, 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 3/4 c. cream, 1 tbsp. butter and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

To caramelize sugar, place a heavy skillet over low heat. Stir constantly until melted and brown.
Place granulated sugar and cream in a double boiler and heat to boiling point.
Add caramelized sugar and stir until well blended.
Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.
Beat thoroughly.
May be reheated over hot water.
Store in jar in refrigerator.
