Heat milk, water, honey, butter and salt in a pan until warm (110° to 115°).
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups bread flour, 2 cups whole wheat flour and yeast.
Add warm liquids; beat 3 minutes on medium speed of mixer.
Add rest of whole wheat flour and enough bread flour to make very stiff dough.
