Honey Chicken
Honey Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, 2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) fryer, cut up and 1 egg yolk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine garlic powder, salt and pepper. Rub chicken with mixture. Beat egg yolk with honey and 2 tablespoons butter in small bowl. Brush chicken with honey mixture.
Place, skin side up, in greased baking dish.
Bake at 325Β° for 45 minutes to 1 hour, basting with remaining butter. Turn and bake for 10 to 15 minutes longer until brown.
