Hominy Casserole
Hominy Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 garlic clove, minced, 1 tbsp. cooking oil, 1 c. sour cream (8 oz.) and 3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese, divided, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In skillet, cook onion and garlic in oil until tender.
Remove from heat.
In bowl, combine onion mixture, sour cream, 1/2 of cheese, milk, chilies and cumin.
Add drained hominy.
Mix well. Pour into a greased 2-quart baking dish.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle rest of cheese over top and serve.
