Homemade Bagels
Homemade Bagels is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. warm water, 1 pkg. yeast, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 4 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix water and yeast in large bowl.
Stir in sugar, salt and 4 cups flour.
Turn onto board and knead for 10 minutes, adding flour as needed.
Place in greased bowl.
Cover; let rise 15 minutes. Punch dough down and roll into 1-inch thick ropes and fasten ends to form a circle.
Place on a greased cookie sheet and let rise 20 minutes.
