Holiday Macaroons
Holiday Macaroons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 3/4 c. sugar, 1/3 c. flour, 1/4 tsp. baking powder and 1/8 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Beat eggs in bowl until light; add sugar gradually, beating for 5 minutes or until thickened.
Add sifted dry ingredients; mix well.
Stir in butter, vanilla, lemon rind and coconut. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased and floured cookie sheet. Decorate with candied cherries.
Bake at 325Β° for 15 minutes. Cool completely.
Store in tightly covered container.
Yields 2 dozen.
