Holiday Fondue Pot Or Microwave is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. shredded gruyere cheese, 2 c. shredded swiss cheese, 3/4 c. dry white wine, 1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce and 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place all ingredients in fondue pot and heat.
Or, to microwave, toss cheeses, flour, mustard and garlic powder together. In a 1 1/2-quart microwave casserole dish, heat wine, Worcestershire sauce and 1/4 cup water, uncovered, on 100% power (High) for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, or until hot.
Add cheese mixture to liquid.
Microwave at 50% (Medium) for 7 to 9 minutes, or until cheese is melted, stirring every 2 minutes.
Serve with vegetables or bread cubes.
Reheat as needed.
