Heavenly Hot Fudge Sauce
Heavenly Hot Fudge Sauce is an easy dinner. Made with 1/4 lb. oleo, 3 c. sugar, 1 2/3 c. evaporated milk, 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Melt oleo and chocolate in top of double boiler over boiling water.
Stir in sugar gradually, about 4 tablespoons at a time, and be sure that the sugar is moistened after each addition.
Mixture will become very thick and quite dry.
Add salt and slowly stir in the evaporated milk a little at a time.
Stir until smooth and satiny.
Serve hot.
This makes 2 cups of sauce and it may be stored in a covered refrigerator jar and heated in a double boiler as you need.
For a thinner sauce, slowly add 1 or 2 tablespoons evaporated milk as you heat it.
