Hearty Beef And Potato Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. frozen hash browns, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, 1 (2.8 oz.) can durkee french fried onions and 1 medium tomato, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place potatoes on bottom of 9 x 13-inch casserole.
Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 10 minutes.
Brown ground beef.
Drain. Combine soup, milk, half the cheese and seasonings.
Add the ground beef, broccoli, 1/2 can of Durkee onions and tomato.
Pour onto potatoes.
Bake, covered, at 400° for 20 minutes.
Top with remaining cheese and onions.
Bake, uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes longer.
Preparation time: 15 minutes.
