Health Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 c. shortening, 1 tbsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed the granulated sugar, brown sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
In another bowl, sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Add flour mixture to sugar mixture and mix well with a wooden spoon.
Add oats, bran cereal, corn flakes and coconut; mix well.
Roll cookie dough to form walnut size balls and place on well-greased sheet.
Flatten with fork and bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350Β°.
Cookies freeze well in a tightly covered container.
