Hazelnut Raisin Scones
Hazelnut Raisin Scones is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 1/3 c. butter or margarine and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder and sugar.
Cut butter into the flour mixture until mixture is crumbly.
With a fork, mix the egg and milk together until blended.
Add to the dry ingredients, stirring with the fork.
Mix just until ingredients are blended.
Add nuts and raisins.
With hands gather the dough together into a ball.
Turn out onto a lightly floured board, cut into 8 parts.
Shape each part into a round ball.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
With a sharp knife, slash an x in the center of each scone.
