Hawaiian Rice
Hawaiian Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can beef consomme, 1 can golden mushroom soup, 1 onion, 1 pkg. almonds, slivered and 1/2 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Chop onion into fine pieces.
Saute onion and almonds in butter until golden brown.
In a 2 1/2-quart round casserole dish, add consomme, mushroom soup, rice and onion mixture; mix well. Preheat oven to 425°.
Bake, covered, at 425° for 1/2 hour. Remove cover and bake at 350° for 1/2 hour.
Great served with barbecued chicken and a tossed green salad.
