Hawaiian Nut Bread
Hawaiian Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. sugar, 1/3 c. shortening, 2 eggs, 1 c. mashed ripe bananas and 8 oz. can drained, crushed pineapple, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In large bowl, cream sugar and shortening until fluffy.
Beat in eggs.
Stir in mashed bananas, drained pineapple and nuts. Combine dry ingredients.
Stir into banana mixture until smooth. Spoon into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350Β° for about 50 to 60 minutes.
Remove from pan; cool on rack.
Wrap airtight in foil or plastic wrap.
Let stand overnight for easy slicing and spread with cream cheese, if desired.
