Hawaiian Beef Dinner
Hawaiian Beef Dinner is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 lb. boneless beef chuck, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes, 1 (20 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple chunks, 1 tbsp. molasses, 2 tbsp. cornstarch and 2 bananas, cut in chunks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In Dutch oven or heavy kettle, brown beef in fat.
Add onion, salt, garlic and ginger. Drain pineapple and reserve syrup. Add enough water to syrup to make 1 1/2 cups. Add 1/2 cup to meat and bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer 2 hours or until meat is tender.
