Hamburger Steak
Hamburger Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. ground beef, 1 c. cold water, 1 c. cracker crumbs, salt and pepper to taste and 1 can cream of mushroom soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix the first 4 ingredients together and pat in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Refrigerate overnight.
Cut in squares, roll in flour and brown in a small amount of shortening.
Put in roasting pan.
Take the mushroom soup and steak sauce and mix in pan.
Heat to a boil. Pour over meat and bake 1 1/2 hours in a 275Β° oven.
Serves 15.
