Hamburg and Sausage Soup
Hamburg And Sausage Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hamburg, 1/2 lb. polish or smoked sausage, sliced, 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt, 1/2 tsp. oregano and 1/2 tsp. basil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In large kettle, brown hamburg and sausage.
Drain well.
Add seasonings, herbs and soup mix.
Stir in boiling water, tomato juice and soy sauce.
Add raw vegetables and macaroni; stir well. Cover and bring to boil; turn to simmer for 45 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
May also be cooked in a crock-pot for 8 hours on low temperature, 4 to 5 hours on high.
Serves 6 or more.
