Ground Beef Casserole
Ground Beef Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 onion (the size of a large lemon), chopped, 1 to 2 stalks celery, chopped, 1/4 medium bell pepper, chopped, 2 1/2 lb. ground beef and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Sauté the onion, celery and bell pepper in skillet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
Cook on medium heat until tender.
May have to add a little water.
Brown ground beef and drain.
Add onion, celery and pepper to ground beef.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Mix and put in casserole dish.
Top with sliced cheese.
Mix cream of mushroom soup or celery soup with milk.
Add mixed vegetables.
Pour over cheese.
Cook in oven at 350° until soup is hot.
