Grits Soufflé
Grits Soufflé is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. grits, 3 tbsp. hot milk, 2 tbsp. onion, chopped fine, 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, grated and 3 egg whites, beaten stiff, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
👨🍳 Instructions
Combine grits, milk, onion and salt in a medium size bowl. Beat yolks until thick and lemon color.
Stir yolk and cheese into mix.
Pour into a greased casserole dish.
Set casserole in a baking pan and pour boiling water in pan to a depth of 1 inch. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
Serve immediately.
