Green Stuffed Peppers
Green Stuffed Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 green peppers, 2 c. precooked rice, 1 (16 oz.) can italian style stewed tomatoes, basil, italian seasoning and garlic salt and 2 lb. ground beef, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Boil peppers 20 to 30 minutes.
Brown meat; drain grease.
Add tomatoes, 1/2 of tomato sauce, all seasonings and chopped onion to meat.
Add rice to meat.
Stuff peppers with mixture.
Place green peppers in a baking dish.
Top with remaining tomato sauce.
Cover with foil and bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
