Green Beans with Garlic
Green Beans With Garlic is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. green beans, washed and snapped, 1/4 c. unsalted butter, 1 clove garlic, peeled and bruised and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cook beans in at least 4 quarts of salted, boiling water for 3 minutes or to taste.
They should remain a little crunchy.
Remove beans and immerse immediately in ice-cold water.
(This fixes the bright green color.)
Melt butter in saute pan; add garlic and thoroughly drained green beans.
Saute to warm beans and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Remove garlic.
Serve.
