Green Beans Oriental
Green Beans Oriental is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cans french-style beans (yellow, green or combo), 1 can bean sprouts, 1 can water chestnuts (8 oz.), sliced, 1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese and 4 tbsp. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Heat beans in own juice for 5 minutes; drain.
Combine bean sprouts, water chestnuts and cheese.
Make alternate layers of beans and cheese mixture in casserole dish.
Blend flour, salt and Worcestershire sauce in 2 tablespoons of margarine.
Add milk, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Pour over vegetables, lifting with fork to coat all vegetables.
Melt 2 tablespoons of margarine, add almonds and sprinkle over casserole.
Bake at 425Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
