Great Scots
Great Scots is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sifted flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 3/4 tsp. baking soda and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sift together sifted flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda; set aside.
Combine in bowl the sugar, soft butter and eggs; beat until creamy.
Gradually add flour mixture alternately with milk. Stir in rolled oats, butterscotch morsels, raisins and chopped nuts.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350Β° for 12 to 14 minutes.
Makes 4 dozen.
