Grandma's Banana Bread
Grandma'S Banana Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 bananas, mashed, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter, 2 eggs, beaten and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cream sugar and butter.
Add eggs and mix well.
Slowly mix in flour with the baking powder and baking soda.
Stir in the bananas (nuts if desired).
Grandma also adds about 1/2 cup chopped cherries.
(She says it looks nicer!)
You may also add about 1/2 cup milk to make into muffins instead of bread.
Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Bake bread at 325° for 1/2 hour, then increase to about 400° for 1/2 hour (1 hour total).
