Goulash
Goulash is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 onions, sliced, 1/3 c. oil, 3 lb. boneless beef chuck, cubed, 2 tbsp. paprika and 1 tbsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In Dutch oven, cook onions in oil until tender.
Remove and reserve.
Combine paprika, salt and pepper and coat meat with these.
Brown meat in onion drippings.
Return onions to pot. Stir in tomato paste, water, garlic and remaining salt.
Simmer 1 to 2 hours or until tender.
If too thick, add more water. Garnish with sour cream.
Serves 6 to 8.
