Golden Cream Soup
Golden Cream Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. chopped potatoes, 1 c. water, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 1/2 c. chopped carrots and 1/4 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In large saucepan, combine potatoes, water, celery, carrots, onion, parsley, bouillon cube and seasonings.
Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until tender.
You may need to add more water so the vegetables won't stick to the bottom of the pan.
Gradually add milk to the flour, mixing until well blended.
Add milk mixture to vegetables; cook until thickened.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
