Golden Angel Food Cake
Golden Angel Food Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 eggs, separated, 1 1/8 c. water, 2 1/4 c. sugar, 2 1/4 c. flour and 3/8 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Sift flour, cream of tartar and baking powder together.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Beat egg whites until stiff; set aside.
In a large bowl put in egg yolks and water; beat until foamy.
Add sugar and beat again.
Add sifted dry ingredients gradually, beating well. Add several drops of orange flavoring and beat.
Fold in egg whites.
Put into ungreased tube pan.
Bake 1 hour.
If preferred drizzle with white icing glaze.
