Glossy Chocolate Frosting
Glossy Chocolate Frosting is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 6 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 3 sq. (3 oz.) chocolate and 3/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix sugar and cornstarch in 2-quart saucepan; stir in water, chocolate and salt.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Beat in butter and vanilla.
Spread on cake while frosting is hot. Delicious.
Enough for two 8 or 9-inch layers.
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top and sides if desired.
