Gingerbread Cookies
Gingerbread Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 1/2 c. all purpose flour, 1 tbsp. ground ginger, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. cinammon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine flour, ginger, soda, salt and cinammon: set aside. Cream butter or margarine and brown sugar 2 to 3 minutes.
Beat in molasses. Stir in flour mixture just until blended.
Chill dough until firm (1 to 2 hours).
Preheat oven 375Β°.
Divide dough into fourths.
Working one fourth at a time, roll on floured pastry cloth to 1/8 inch thick.
Cut with desired shaped cookie cutters. Gently transfer cutouts to ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 7 to 8 minutes or until edges are light brown.
Cool slightly before removing.
Decorate as desired.
