Gingerbread
Gingerbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, 1 c. light molasses, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. salad oil and 2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix eggs, molasses, sugar and oil.
Dissolve 2 teaspoons soda in 2 teaspoons hot water.
Add to egg mixture and mix well.
Add spices.
Add flour and beat well.
Add boiling water a little at a time, beating lightly.
Bake in ungreased 9 x 13-inch dish at 300Β° for 50 minutes or until done.
Check with toothpick.
Serve with whipped cream or lemon sauce.
