Ginger Chip Cookies
Ginger Chip Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 3 tbsp. dark molasses and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg, molasses, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt.
Blend until smooth dough forms, using medium to low speed on mixer.
Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate pieces; shape into 1-inch balls.
Dip tops of balls in sugar.
Place dipped side up on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 to 12 minutes, until browned and firm.
Makes 5 dozen cookies.
