Gherkin Salat
Gherkin Salat is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 qt. sliced cucumbers, peeled or unpeeled, 2 medium onions, sliced in rings, few sprigs parsley, 2 tbsp. salt and 1 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Slice cucumbers as thin as possible by hand or in food processor.
Slice onions.
Tear up parsley.
Sprinkle salt over all and stir well.
Add 3 or 4 ice cubes.
Cover and let set for several hours.
Drain in colander and rinse with cold water.
Drain very well.
