German Potato Salad
German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 medium potatoes, 6 slices bacon, 1 medium onion, chopped, 2 1/2 tbsp. flour and 1/2 c. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Boil potatoes until jackets are tender.
Fry bacon until crisp; save 4 tablespoons of fat.
Drain bacon well and crumble (set aside).
Heat bacon fat and stir in flour and onion.
Cook slowly.
Continue to stir for a minute.
Off heat, add water and vinegar; mix well.
Return to low heat and cook, stirring, until smooth and thickened.
Add sugar, salt, pepper and bacon.
Cook for 10 minutes.
