German Potato Salad
German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 to 12 slices bacon, 3/4 c. onion, chopped, 8 to 10 potatoes, cooked ahead, 3/4 c. vinegar and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Chop and saute bacon.
Add onion to bacon just before the bacon is done and cook.
Remove from heat.
Drain off excess grease and discard.
In a separate pot, bring to a boil, vinegar, salt and sugar.
Dissolve flour into water and add to dressing. Add bacon and onion to dressing.
Pour over potatoes, which have been cut into bite-size pieces.
