German Potato Salad
German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 to 2 lb. bacon, 3 1/2 lb. potatoes, cooked and diced (7 c.), 1 1/2 c. onion, 1/4 c. flour and 1/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In large skillet, cook bacon until crisp.
Drain, reserving 3 tablespoons drippings.
Crumble bacon.
In large bowl, toss bacon with the potatoes and onions; set aside.
In drippings, combine flour and sugar.
Combine water, vinegar, salt and pepper.
Stir into skillet.
Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
Stir in cream.
Pour over potato mixture.
Toss gently to coat.
Makes 12 servings.
