German Apple Pancake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, 1/2 c. milk, 1/3 c. flour, 1/4 tsp. salt and 2 apples, peeled and sliced thin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In blender, mix eggs, flour, milk and salt.
Blend until smooth.
Let batter stand 1 hour.
Sprinkle juice of 1/2 lemon over apple slices.
In a 12-inch skillet (that can go in oven), heat 2 tablespoons butter.
When bubbly, pour in batter.
Cover with apple slices and bake in 375Β° oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
Dot with 2 tablespoons butter; sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture over apples.
Return to oven for 2 minutes.
