Georgia Pecan Pie
Georgia Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 3 eggs, slightly beaten and 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Combine sugar, syrup and butter in 2-quart saucepan.
Bring to boil on high, stirring constantly until butter is melted.
Remove from stove and gradually add hot syrup to eggs; stir all the while.
Add pecans to mixture and cool to lukewarm.
Add vanilla.
Pour into pie shell and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
Serves 6 to 8.
