Gayle's Yeast Rolls
Gayle'S Yeast Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 c. warm water, 1/2 c. dry powdered carnation milk and 1/2 c. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix the first 3 ingredients and let stand until yeast is dissolved and is foamy, about 15 minutes.
Add powdered milk, oil and enough self-rising flour to make a stiff dough. Grease 9 inch cake pans with melted butter.
Pour dough out onto a floured board and knead lightly.
Roll out and cut with a biscuit cutter, placed in greased pans.
Let rise 1 hour.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 to 15 minutes. Very easy and good.
Makes 3 dozen rolls.
