Garlicky Chicken Wings
Garlicky Chicken Wings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. wings or chicken cutlets or cut up whole chicken, 1/3 c. olive oil, 2/3 c. italian style bread crumbs, 3/4 tsp. black pepper, coarsely cracked and 1 large bulb fresh garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Using either wings, cutlets or chicken parts, rinse and pat dry.
Separate cloves of peeled garlic; place garlic, olive oil and hot sauce in blender or food processor and purée.
Do not cut garlic, leave cloves whole, they purée much better whole.
Combine bread crumbs and grated cheese with pepper.
Dip wings in purée (garlic).
Roll in bread crumbs, one piece at a time.
Oil shallow baking pan.
In single layer bake in preheated 375° oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until crisp and brown.
