Made with 2 c. fresh green beans, 1 tbsp. butter, melted, 3 medium carrots, sliced into thin strips, 1 large green pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces and 1 large onion, thinly sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Pour 1 tablespoon melted butter into a 3-quart casserole to coat surface.
Layer beans, carrots, green pepper, onion, tomatoes, and celery in baking dish.
Combine salt, pepper, sugar and cornstarch; mix well and sprinkle over vegetables.
Dot with 3 tablespoons butter.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour, or until vegetables are tender.
