Funnel Cake
Funnel Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 1 1/2 c. milk, 2 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Pour oil into a deep fryer or a heavy deep pan until it's about 2 inches deep.
Get oil very hot, but not until it smokes. Pour mixed batter through a funnel into hot oil in a circular motion, then in a crisscross until cake is size of a large doughnut.
They cook quick!
When lightly brown, remove and drain on a paper towel.
While hot, dredge in powdered sugar or sprinkle on top.
