Fruit and Nut Fudge
Fruit And Nut Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. milk, 1/2 c. brer rabbit molasses*, 1/4 c. raisins or other fruit and 1/8 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Put the sugar, milk and molasses in a saucepan.
Stir until dissolved.
Boil to 238Β° or until a little of the mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
Stir in the butter and chocolate.
Allow to cool.
Beat until creamy.
Add nuts, fruits and vanilla.
Pour into greased tins.
When cool, cut into squares.
