Fruit and Nut Cookies
Fruit And Nut Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. dried apricots, diced, 1 c. boiling water, 2 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine apricots and water, let set 10 minutes; drain well. Sift together dry ingredients.
Beat butter, sugar, fruit rinds, eggs and lemon juice together until fluffy.
Combine flour and butter mixtures with sour cream.
Fold in apricots, candied fruits and nuts.
Drop onto greased cookie sheet 1 1/2 inches apart. Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
