Frosted Cinnamon Rolls
Frosted Cinnamon Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yeast, 1/4 c. warm water, 1 c. milk, scalded and then cooled, 3 tbsp. vegetable oil and 3 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Stir in cooled milk, sugar, oil, baking powder, salt, egg and 1 to 1 1/2 cups flour.
Beat until smooth.
Mix in remaining flour to make dough easy to handle.
Turn dough onto well floured board; knead 5 minutes or until smooth.
Let dough rest 15 to 20 minutes.
Roll to a 12 x 10-inch rectangle.
Spread with 4 tablespoons softened butter. Sprinkle evenly with a mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Roll up, beginning at wide end.
Cut into 12 slices.
Place in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan, slightly apart (4 rows of 3 each).
Refrigerate at least 12 hours.
Heat oven to 350Β° and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
