Fried Rice
Fried Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. vegetable oil, 1 spanish onion, diced, 2 large celery stalks, sliced, 2 green peppers, cut into strips and 3 c. brown rice, cooked, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium to high heat. Add onions and saute translucent.
Stir in celery and green peppers. until crisp and tender.
Add meat, rice, water chestnuts and almonds. Heat thoroughly, stirring constantly.
Blend in egg mixture until well coated.
Continue cooking, stirring frequently until golden brown.
Season with soy sauce to taste.
